Goldbug Featured Customizer
There are customizers who are off the radar and then there are customizers who don't even realize there is a radar. February 2014's Featured Customizer is one of those. While he focuses on part swapping a lot of them are worth taking note of, well, at least the ones he still has pictures of. And as it turns out we should be seeing even more of his work over the coming months. Here is what's available in the Critiques Section of the forum.
Wow! I am honored to be chosen featured customizer of the month. I wish I had time to finish some of the customs on my to do list. Most of my customs are just part switching.
What do you enjoy customizing the most?
I enjoy making customs of characters that were not made before.
What brand of paint do you prefer?
Tamiya brand acrylic seems to work best for me.
Where do you find inspiration for your customs?
I find inspiration from comics and animated media.
What do you consider to be your best tools of the trade?
I have discovered architectural grade silicone sealant works great on ball jointed heads. It is less messy than hot glue and not as permanent as green stuff.
What is your strongest area when it comes to customizing?
I suppose my ability to choose parts that work well together.
