You will also need to repet this step with the file card on the back side, turn off the Joe layer and turn on the Cobra layer. After that you can add the name of the Enemy to the logo.
  • To make a 1983 figure, make sure the Swivel Arm Grip layer is on.
  • To add the Cobra Commander mail in offer to the front of the cardback, make sure the Cobra Commander Offer layer is turned on.
  • The front of the 1982 G.I. Joe cardback is saved at 259 dpi insted of the standard 300 dpi to keep the file size down.

9 Backs and 11 Backs

1982 figures came with two different variations on the back of the cardbacks. One variation has a 9 figure checklist on the back featuring the G.I. Joe team. The other variation features 11 figures, the 9 Joes as well as the Cobra Officer and Cobra Trooper. There is a layer for each of these in the Standard 1982 Cardback file. Just turn on the one you want and turn off the other.

1982 figures in 1983

All of the figures from 82 were still avalibe in 1983. These cardbacks are often times called 20 cardbacks becuse they feature a 20 figure checklist on the back of the card. To make one of these cardbacks you will need the front half of the card from either 1982 and you will use the standard 1983 back. This will give you the 20 style cardback that these figures would have been on.
